Peregrination to Peebles
’twas a Friday afternoon and one of the lads suggested a wee jaunt out to get me to “ride it” again, I said it was unlikely to happen in one shot, but it’s worth the go anyway.
Crashy McCrashy Rides Again
A.K.A. “Watch out – potential unintended collateral damage”
West Lothian. 68 days post failed flying lesson. About as broken as I was in January.
I’m back. Kinda… If a bike could limp, mine would.
Cowped at Craigdarroch
Okay, so first thing is first.
I realise that there may be several people from my work who will see this post and website on account of what’s been going on -this website is a personal one and does not reflect the views of my employer or colleagues. There is bad language, mockery and a small amount of abuse here – it’s all tongue in cheek and those who know me, know it’s meant with a certain level of affection and not to be taken seriously.
Trouncing the Trossachs
Scotland.
Late January.
Temperatures in low, single digits.
Fair weather though, and it’s not freezing overnight – does that sound like a good time to go out for a ride in rural Scotland on some of the more treacherous roads out there?
Goin’ tae Girvan
Mid November. Ther ‘perfect’ time to be out on two wheels…
Wee Wander to Wooler
This week, we went to Wooler with our wikes bikes.
Early October Outing
Out for a wee bit of back road bashing, again. It started as a wee trip South, just to see what happens.
Lake District Laughs
Today, the “Muirhell Angels share” posse hit the roads and went to the lake district. Motorways, ducks, mountain passes and hopefully some rider improvement all ensued.
Outing to the In-Laws, or, out unsupervised .
For the first ride of significant length as the only biker in the party, we decided that we were off to the in laws to see visiting family- thankfully my father-in-law and brother-in-law are also bikers and wanted to have a look at the machine I’d decided on, so the missus was on 4 wheels, while I was on two.
