This week, we went to Wooler with our wikes bikes.
The Route
It was a laugh – over to Edinburgh, then down the A68 and turn off before you reach Lauder (the best way to see Lauder).
Then follow the road all the way down.
This meant coming back via Kelso which was oddly refreshing – it seems theyve discovered writing, so have immortalised it in stone in the town square so the locals can gaze at the inscriptions and wonder what they mean when they’re not pointing at the firey thing in the sky that comes out when it’s not nightime.
We even found a spot for the Groms to try out a non-tarmac section of the land.
