Lollop to Lanark and Livvy

Lollop to Lanark and Livvy

Another Winter’s day, but the weather was warm enough, and it wasn’t raining sideways, so it was time for another wee jaunt.

Meeting in Law, we thought it would be a good day to head over to Lanark using the main roads, because while the weather was ok, the roads were skippy as hell and covered in salt & slush so it was a case of mains roads only.

Still though, there’s always time for a Greggs. Need to stay warm somehow!

Lanark

A few miles after Lanark and Greggs we decided we needed to get a cup of tea (or equivalent) but couldn’t think of any cafes that might be open, so McDonald’s it was!

In Livingston, because that was the closest one. But they had no hot drinks because their machine was broken.

So Chris and John bravely set off to Greggs in the mall, and discovered with a Monday queue is like in January there. Poor bastards.

Once we were suitable fed, we dropped in to A2B rider training in Livingston because they taught me how to ride and got me through mas DAS. Also they have shop upstairs that sell motorcycle gear, and because we were in the area, it seemed like a good idea to introduce the lads to the place.

A2B in Livingston

If you’re in the area, drop in and have a look around – they have a surprising range of gear available and it’s not fiendishly expensive either. I like it.
