Post Work Ride to The Dalveen pass

Another day, another couple of quid from working – but worked finished, we had motorbikes, and some good weather…

So naturally we went for a run to Leadhills (again) and over the Mennock pass. I’m getting to know that road fairly well now, even if the potholes seem to move around unfettered.

Once we’d reached the end of the Mennock pass we figure the Dalveen pass would be a good route back up home. We even had enough time to stop over and take a few photos of a waterfall on a corner (the Lavern Burn waterfall).

The temperature was dropping once we’d lingered for around 10 minutes, so after a false start or two on the bike we got ourselves back up the road without any further incident.

Except for Graham expressing his love of livestock. It’s almost like he practised animal husbandry at some point, but stopped when was caught at it in a compromising position.
